First look New offer
From sign-up to cash-out at the relaunched Megaways Casino, and what its 100 free spins are really worth
Our Megaways Casino review comes down to one cheap, simple welcome deal: deposit £10 for the first time and 100 free spins on Fishing Frenzy Big Catch Megaways land automatically, with 10x wagering on whatever they win. It suits slot players who want to try a Megaways-heavy lobby for a tenner, without a matched bonus to grind through. When we checked the promotions page on 3 November 2026, the offer stood exactly as described here.
The name came first. When Gamesys and Big Time Gaming opened Megaways Casino on 23 February 2021, they built a whole site around the reel mechanic Big Time Gaming invented. The brand is now back under new management: Skill On Net Ltd, the operator behind a long list of UK casinos, runs it under UK Gambling Commission account 39326, and the Commission’s register lists megawayscasino.com as an active domain on that licence.
So this is a relaunch rather than a fresh start, and we treated it as one. We followed a new player’s route through the site: the sign-up, a £10 first deposit that triggers the spins, the 8,000-game lobby and the cash-out.

Making a first deposit at Megaways Casino
The first deposit needs to be at least £10 to qualify for the spins. Megaways Casino accepts Visa and Mastercard debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Trustly, with Instant Bank Payment offered on mobile for paying straight from a banking app. Card deposits are credited as soon as they are approved. Credit cards and American Express are refused.
Unlike many welcome offers this year, the promotion terms we read exclude no e-wallet by name. Even so, a debit card or PayPal is the safest choice for a first deposit.
Using the free spins: what 10x on winnings means in pounds
One hundred spins at 10p each is £10 of play, the same as the deposit. What happens next depends on the reels. Suppose the spins return £8. That £8 must be wagered ten times, so £80 of slot bets. The cap on each bet while wagering is 10% of the winnings amount, so 80p a spin in this example; on larger wins the ceiling stops at £5.
Run the same sum at the other end. A lucky £60 from the spins means £600 of wagering, with bets capped at £5 (10% of £60 would be £6, so the £5 limit applies). That is 120 spins at the maximum, or many more at smaller stakes. A cold run of £2 needs only £20 of play at 20p a spin.
Only slots count, so roulette and blackjack do nothing for the target. And because the spins have to be used before your own money, you cannot play your deposit first and come back to them later.
Ten times winnings is lighter than the 30x deposit-and-bonus default in the site’s Bonus Policy, and well below what older spin offers asked. For a £10 outlay, it is a fair way to try the game the casino is named after.
Inside the Megaways Casino games library
The lobby claims more than 8,000 games, with about 7,400 of them slots. Megaways titles get top billing: Fishin’ Frenzy Megaways, Buffalo King Megaways, 5 Lions Megaways, Madame Destiny Megaways, Monopoly Megaways, Temple Tumble Megaways, Big Bass Bonanza Megaways, Eye of Horus Megaways and Chilli Heat Megaways all feature. Deal Or No Deal Megaways: Jackpot King, Great Rhino Megaways and Extra Juicy Megaways have their own pages. Classics such as Starburst, Book of Dead and Bonanza sit alongside them.
The mechanic is the point. Instead of fixed paylines, Megaways slots pay matching symbols on adjacent reels, and the number of symbols per reel changes on every spin. The site says that can produce up to 2,985,984 ways to win on some games; Buffalo King Megaways uses the classic 117,649-way layout.
Beyond slots, the live casino runs more than 480 tables from Evolution and Pragmatic Play, including about 300 blackjack options, Lightning Roulette and Crazy Time among more than 50 game shows. Slingo Extreme, Age of the Gods Scratch, Big Bass Crash and video poker such as Deuces Wild round out the menu. Daily Picks, tournaments and a Prize Twister of random rewards run for existing players.
Our advice: Megaways games swing hard. Keep stakes low when wagering spin winnings, and try a title in demo mode where the lobby offers it before staking real money. Bonanza, Big Time Gaming’s own Megaways slot, is a sensible benchmark: if its swings feel too sharp, the newer branded versions will too.
Megaways Casino payments and withdrawal times
| Method | Deposits | Withdrawals |
|---|---|---|
| Visa / Mastercard debit | Yes, credited on approval | Yes |
| PayPal | Yes | Shown in the cashier for your account |
| Apple Pay | Yes | Shown in the cashier for your account |
| Trustly | Yes | Shown in the cashier for your account |
| Instant Bank Payment | Yes, on mobile | Shown in the cashier for your account |
| Credit cards, American Express | Refused | Refused |
Visa and Mastercard debit cards are confirmed for withdrawals on the payments page, and the cashier shows which other methods are open to your account. Megaways Casino says most withdrawals are paid in under five minutes, which would put it among the fastest payers on this site. That speed depends on verification: the help pages say documents are usually checked in under 12 hours, and to contact support if you hear nothing within 48. Withdrawals need approved ID, proof of address, proof of payment method ownership and, where asked, evidence of source of funds. Uploading documents before the first cash-out is the simplest way to see that five-minute figure.
The Megaways Casino app on iPhone and Android
Both app stores carry a Megaways Casino app. On Google Play, the Android app from Skill On Net Ltd holds 4.2 stars from 82 reviews and more than 1,000 downloads, and was last updated on 6 October 2026. On the GB App Store, the iPhone app (seller listed as Online Digital Medonia Ltd) rates 4.4 from 107 ratings. The site’s own mobile page still tells iPhone users to use the browser while the app is finalised, so the browser site remains a dependable fallback. Games, payments, safer gambling tools and support are the same in the app and in the browser, and the welcome offer applies however you sign up.
Help and contact at Megaways Casino
Live chat is staffed from 6am to midnight, with a virtual assistant covering the rest of the day; you need to log in and choose Live Chat. Email goes through the Contact page, and there is no phone line. Complaints are made in writing to customer support, with a manager or supervisor replying within 96 hours if you ask for escalation.
The operator is Skill On Net Ltd, Office 1/5297 Level G, Quantum House, 75 Abate Rigord Street, Ta’ Xbiex, XBX 1120, Malta; the Gambling Commission register gives its head office as Limassol, Cyprus. It holds UK Gambling Commission account 39326, with remote casino and bingo licences active, and Malta Gaming Authority licence MGA/CRP/171/2009/01.
Megaways Casino reviews from real players
Megaways Casino scores 1.5 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 37 reviews, and 81% of them are one star. Only eight were posted in the last 12 months, so much of the record predates the current operator. The complaints repeat: winnings held back or accounts closed at withdrawal, a chatbot that is hard to get past to a human, and welcome bonuses players say were not credited. The handful of five-star reviews mention smooth play.
The app stores tell a kinder story, with 4.4 on iPhone and 4.2 on Android, though from samples of around a hundred. Read together, the pattern is familiar: the games and the apps please people, while the friction comes at verification and withdrawal. Get your documents approved before you win anything.
Who Megaways Casino is best for
- Megaways devotees: the lobby is built around the mechanic, from Bonanza to Monopoly Megaways.
- £10 players: 100 spins for a tenner, with no stake target before they arrive.
- App users: one of the few new casinos here with rated apps on both stores.
- Players who verify early: the under-five-minute payout claim rewards anyone with documents approved.
Not ideal if…
– You want round-the-clock human support; agents work 6am to midnight.
– You prefer a matched bonus balance to play with.
– Trustpilot history matters to you; 1.5 out of 5 is a weak record.
Megaways Casino against three other new casinos
| Casino | Welcome offer | Qualifying spend | Wagering |
|---|---|---|---|
| Megaways Casino | 100 spins on Fishing Frenzy Big Catch Megaways | £10 deposit | 10x spin winnings |
| BetSuna Casino | 100% up to £100 + 50 spins | First deposit | 10x bonus / 10x spin wins |
| 7Bet Casino | 100 spins on Big Bass Splash | Deposit and spin £20, Promo Code WELCOME100 | 1x, max cash-out £100 |
| Casiku Casino | 50 wager-free spins on Big Bass Splash | Deposit £20, wager £50 | None, capped at £50 |
For £10 down and no stake required, Megaways Casino asks the least of the four. 7Bet and Casiku carry lighter or no wagering but need more money up front, while BetSuna is the pick for a larger matched balance. Our new casino apps guide covers the other sites with download options.
