New Betting Sites UK 2026: The Fresh Bookmakers Worth a First Bet

New betting sites UK guide header showing five new bookmaker welcome offers lined up on a smartphone screen

New betting sites UK punters see advertised almost all open with the same pitch: sign up, place a first bet, collect free bets. The banners range from a £10 free bet to £50, and the conditions underneath vary just as widely. This guide ranks the five new bookmakers we have reviewed in full, with every offer re-checked against the operator’s own terms on 3 November 2026.

Only one of the five dates its own arrival: easyGroup announced easyBet in October 2024, built on the Matchbook exchange. The others leave launch dates off their pages, so we went to the Gambling Commission’s public register to see who actually runs them, and found that three of the five are white labels on one licence. All five pay their welcome in free bets, and none of them hands back the free bet stake when a bet wins. That single rule moves the sums more than any headline figure, so we work through it in detail below.

Our ranking of the best new betting sites weighs three things: how much free bet credit each pound of qualifying stake unlocks, how light the conditions are, and what a customer still gets once the welcome has been spent. The full method is on how we review.

New UK Bookmakers Rated and Reviewed

1. BetSuna Sports: Bet £10, Get a £50 Free Bet

The least established bookmaker on our list, with no Trustpilot page and no app yet, also pays the largest free bet. A £10 qualifying bet unlocks a single £50 free bet at odds of 1.5 or longer, with winnings wagered once and converted up to £200. Behind the offer sits one of the widest market menus among new betting sites, spanning more than 140 sports, esports included.

Quick facts: ProgressPlay Limited, Gambling Commission account 39335 · withdrawals processed within one business day, 1% fee capped at £3 · 24/7 Live Help chat and email · no Trustpilot page yet · no app

2. 7Bet Sports: Deposit and Bet £10, Get £30 in Bonus Bets

7Bet divides its welcome into three £10 Bonus Bets, released after a £10 qualifying bet at evens or bigger and the Promo Code 7BETWO. Three stakes rather than one means a single losing pick does not end the offer, and the terms set no wagering on the winnings. For a newer bookie, the extras run unusually deep: Early Payout, Bore Draw refunds, 0% margin markets and an Acca Boost that climbs to 75%.

Quick facts: Anakatech Interactive Limited, Gambling Commission account 48789 · withdrawals usually processed the same business day once verified, no 7Bet fee · live chat 8am to 11pm weekdays, 10am to 10pm weekends · Trustpilot 1.7 from 430 reviews · no app

New GB customers only. 18+. First deposit £10+ with Promo Code 7BETWO. Bet £10+ at minimum odds of 1/1 (2.00) to get 3 x £10 Bonus Bets, credited in stages. Each Bonus Bet expires 7 days after crediting. Stake not returned. Restrictions apply. Full T&Cs apply. 18+ | GambleAware.org

3. MogoBet Sports: Bet £10, Get a £30 Free Bet

MogoBet’s sign-up deal follows the ProgressPlay pattern: a £10 qualifying stake, one £30 free bet at 1.5 or longer, 1x wagering and the same £200 ceiling. Where it stands out is the follow-through, a sports promotions page carrying an acca boost, weekend cashback and named offers for nine sports. The counterweight is a 1.5 Trustpilot score driven mostly by withdrawal complaints.

Quick facts: ProgressPlay Limited, Gambling Commission account 39335 · withdrawals processed within one business day, 1% fee capped at £3 · LiveChat and email, Responsible Gaming team on chat 24/7 · Trustpilot 1.5 from 51 reviews · Android listing under a third-party developer, 1.4 from 10 reviews

New Players Only. Min £10 qualifying bets, stake not returned. Free bet: one-time stake of £30, min odds 1.5, stake not returned. 1x wagering of the winnings; wager from real balance first; wagering calculated on bonus bets only. Max conversion £200. Valid for 7 days from receipt. Limited to 1 sport and 5 casino brands within the network. Withdrawal requests void all active or pending bonuses. Skrill and Neteller deposits excluded. Full terms apply. 18+ | GambleAware.org

4. easyBet: Bet £20, Get £30 in Free Bets

easyBet wants the biggest qualifying stake of the five, £20, and confines it to a Predictions market priced at 80% (1.25) or longer, with the Promo Code YES30 entered at sign-up. What it gives in return is a format no rival here offers: Yes or No questions priced as percentages and traded between customers on Matchbook’s exchange. Anyone already holding a Matchbook account is shut out.

Quick facts: Triplebet Limited, Gambling Commission account 39504 · banking and contact pages sit inside the logged-in app · no Trustpilot page yet · iPhone apps 5.0 from 2 ratings (Predictions) and 2.9 from 10 (exchange); Android exchange app 4.5 from 34 reviews

New easyBet customers only. 18+. UK residents only. Sign up with Promo Code YES30. Deposit and place a first bet of £20 on a Predictions market only, at a maximum price of 80% (1.25); the bet must fully settle. £30 in Free Bets credited within 24 hours of settlement. Free Bet stakes not returned. First deposits via Skrill, Neteller or Paysafecard excluded. T&Cs apply. 18+ | GambleAware.org

5. BetMaze Sports: Bet £10, Get a £10 Free Bet

BetMaze matches a first bet pound for pound, the smallest welcome of the group, on terms that mirror BetSuna’s and MogoBet’s almost line for line. A single £10 qualifying bet unlocks the free bet. The menu covers football, racing, tennis, cricket, rugby and basketball, with virtual sports between fixtures.

Quick facts: betmaze.co.uk listed as a white label of ProgressPlay Limited, Gambling Commission account 39335 · payout times not published · Contact Us form · Trustpilot 2.4 from 8 reviews · iPhone listing under a third-party developer, 2.3 from 3 ratings

Best new betting sites by punter type

The ranking above is about value. This is about fit, because the right new bookmaker depends on how you bet.

  • Best for the biggest free bet per pound: BetSuna. £5 of free bet credit for every £1 of qualifying stake, the highest ratio here, plus 140-plus sports to spend it on.
  • Best for football punters who want extras: 7Bet. Early Payout, Bore Draw refunds and an Acca Boost to 75% keep working long after the three Bonus Bets have gone.
  • Best for spreading the risk of a first bet: 7Bet again. Three separate £10 Bonus Bets mean one losing pick does not end the offer.
  • Best for weekly promotions: MogoBet. Its sports promotions page runs an acca boost, weekend cashback and offers across nine sports.
  • Best for exchange and Predictions fans: easyBet. The only bookmaker here with apps under its own operator, and the only one where you can lay a selection or set your own price.

Not ideal if…

  • You deposit by Skrill or Neteller. BetSuna, MogoBet and BetMaze exclude both from the welcome, and easyBet excludes them plus Paysafecard.
  • You have already claimed a ProgressPlay sports welcome. The network terms allow one, so a sister-site sign-up can rule you out of the next.
  • You want a no deposit free bet. None of the five offers one.

What makes a bookie new? Launch dates and family trees

“New” is a loose word in betting. Some of these brands are genuinely fresh; others are new names on established technology. Only easyBet’s owner publishes a launch date, so when we checked in November 2026 we turned to the Gambling Commission’s public register, which lists every domain a licence holder runs and whether it is active or a white label: a brand operated on the licence holder’s platform and under its licence.

BetSuna, MogoBet and BetMaze all appear as white-label domains of ProgressPlay Limited, account 39335, a Maltese operator whose register entry runs to close to 200 domains. That explains why their sports terms read almost word for word alike. BetMaze needs a closer look: an older betmaze.com entry sits as an inactive domain under AG Communications Limited, account 39483, whose remote licences the register shows as surrendered on 23 October 2026. The UK site, betmaze.co.uk, is the one listed under ProgressPlay, and it is the one to use.

ProgressPlay’s own record is worth knowing too. In August 2025 the Commission fined it £1 million for anti-money laundering and social responsibility failings between August 2021 and August 2024, its second enforcement action after a £175,718 penalty in 2022, and required a third-party audit of its controls.

7Bet‘s domain, 7bet.co.uk, is a white label of Anakatech Interactive Limited, account 48789. easyBet is run by Triplebet Limited, the company behind the Matchbook exchange, under account 39504, with easyGroup licensing its name and orange livery; the register lists www.easybet.net as a white label on that account.

Family ties matter in practice. The ProgressPlay-style terms limit each customer to one sports welcome within the network, so a free bet already claimed at a sister brand can rule you out of the next. easyBet’s link to Matchbook works the same way: existing Matchbook customers cannot open an account. Check your history before you register, not after the qualifying bet has settled.

Free bet maths: why the stake never comes back

Every offer on this page carries the same phrase: stake not returned. When a free bet wins, you keep the profit only. A £10 free bet at evens (2.0) pays £10, not £20. That makes a free bet worth less than the same amount in cash, and how much less depends on the odds you choose.

Here is what a winning £10 free bet pays at different prices:

Decimal odds Fractional Profit from a winning £10 free bet Share of face value kept at fair odds
1.5 1/2 £5 33%
2.0 Evens £10 50%
3.0 2/1 £20 67%
5.0 4/1 £40 80%

The final column needs a word of explanation. If the odds were perfectly fair, a free bet at decimal odds of d would be worth its face value multiplied by (1 − 1/d). At evens you win half the time and collect the stake as profit, so the bet is worth roughly half its face value. Longer prices keep more of the theoretical value but land less often, and a bookmaker’s margin trims every figure slightly. Treat the column as a ceiling, not a promise.

Apply that to the five offers:

  • BetSuna: the £50 free bet at 3.0 would pay £100 profit if it won. At 5.0 it would pay £200, exactly the conversion cap, so any price longer than 5.0 adds risk without adding upside. Winnings must be wagered once before withdrawal.
  • 7Bet: three £10 Bonus Bets at evens pay £10 each when they win. If all three landed, that is £30 profit; at fair odds the expected haul is nearer £15. No wagering is stated on the winnings.
  • MogoBet: the £30 free bet at 2.5 pays £45 profit. The £200 cap only bites at odds of about 7.7 or longer.
  • easyBet: the qualifying £20 at the 80% limit (1.25) returns £25 if it wins. The £30 in free bets then behaves like any other: at a 50% Predictions price it pays £30 profit. To turn a percentage into decimal odds, divide 100 by it, so 25% is 4.0.
  • BetMaze: the £10 free bet at evens pays £10 profit, and the cap only matters at 21.0 or longer.

One more way to compare them is free bet credit per pound of qualifying stake. BetSuna gives £5 for every £1, 7Bet and MogoBet £3, easyBet £1.50 and BetMaze £1. On that measure the gap between first and last is wide, which is why BetSuna tops our ranking despite its wagering condition.

Reading the small print on new betting sites free bets

The welcome terms at new bookies look similar at a glance, but six lines decide whether the free bet lands where you expect.

  1. Promo Codes. 7Bet needs 7BETWO with the first deposit, and easyBet needs YES30 at registration. Leave either out and the welcome may not attach. BetSuna, MogoBet and BetMaze apply their sports offers without a Promo Code, though you must pick the sports welcome rather than a casino one.
  2. Qualifying odds. 7Bet’s first bet must be at 2.00 or bigger, which means it will lose roughly half the time. easyBet’s must be at 1.25 or longer on a Predictions market. The ProgressPlay-style offers set a £10 minimum stake but no qualifying price in the terms we read.
  3. Free bet odds and splitting. BetSuna, MogoBet and BetMaze each pay one free bet that must be staked in one go at 1.5 or longer. 7Bet’s three separate Bonus Bets give more flexibility.
  4. Excluded payment methods. Skrill and Neteller deposits do not qualify at BetSuna, MogoBet and BetMaze. easyBet also excludes Paysafecard for the first deposit.
  5. Expiry. Seven days is the norm across all five. 7Bet’s clock runs separately for each Bonus Bet from the moment it is credited.
  6. Withdrawals. At the three ProgressPlay-style sites, asking to withdraw voids any active or pending bonus. Finish the free bet and its wagering first.

Beyond the welcome: what separates the new bookmakers

A sign-up offer lasts a week. The reasons to keep an account open are what the sportsbook does after that.

7Bet carries the deepest toolkit. Early Payout settles a football match-winner bet as a win once your side leads by two goals, with equivalents in tennis, basketball, ice hockey, baseball and American football. Bore Draw refunds selected football bets when a match or half ends 0-0. Its 0% margin markets strip the bookmaker’s cut from chosen Money Line prices, and the Acca Boost rises from 2% on three legs to 75% on 16 or more.

MogoBet relies on volume. Its sports promotions page lists an Acca Super Boost, a Bet Builder promotion, Weekend Sports Cashback, league-by-league football offers and deals for basketball, cricket, tennis, rugby, golf, boxing, snooker and motor sports. Free bets from its Rewards store are a harder proposition, with 10x wagering and a £20 cap.

easyBet changes the format altogether. Predictions markets ask a single question with two answers, priced as a percentage that reflects the crowd’s view. Underneath, the Matchbook exchange lets customers back or lay at their own prices, and a sportsbook layer adds Bet Builder, accumulators, cash out and in-play betting.

BetSuna is about breadth: more than 140 sports and over 30,000 live markets a month, from Premier League Bet Builders to handball, futsal and alpine skiing. BetMaze keeps things simpler, with six main sports, a Live Now area and Virtual Shows for betting between fixtures.

Paying in and cashing out at the newer sportsbooks

Payments are where new bookmakers differ most, and where player complaints tend to gather.

BetSuna and MogoBet publish full method tables. Debit cards, PayPal and Apple Pay deposit instantly; Paysafecard runs from £10 to £700; Instant Bank Payment, Payz, Skrill and Neteller start at £20. Every withdrawal is processed within one business day, after which the method takes between one and seven business days, and each carries a 1% fee capped at £3. Mastercard withdrawals are unavailable, and PayviaPhone deposits cost 15% and cannot be withdrawn to. Transactions appear on statements as Babaloo Limited or ProgressPlay Ltd.

7Bet takes Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard and Neosurf, with deposits from £10 up to £5,000 a time. Withdrawals also start at £10, carry no 7Bet fee and are usually processed the same business day once an account is verified, with further checks above £1,000.

easyBet and BetMaze publish far less. easyBet keeps its banking pages inside the logged-in web app, and BetMaze’s public deposit and withdrawal pages showed no limits or times when we checked. For both, a debit card is the safest first deposit, and identity checks should be finished before you need the money.

Apps or browser? Betting with new bookies on your phone

Only one of the five runs apps under its own operator’s name. easyBet has two in the UK App Store, a Predictions app rated 5.0 from 2 ratings and an older exchange app at 2.9 from 10, plus an Android exchange app at 4.5 from 34 reviews, all listing Triplebet Limited as provider.

BetSuna and 7Bet have no apps; both sportsbooks run in mobile browsers with the full market list. MogoBet and BetMaze each have a single store listing published under a third-party developer name, Mediacle Limited and MXG Infotech respectively, with low scores from tiny samples. Until those listings link from the operators’ own pages, the mobile site is the dependable choice. Store searches also turn up lookalike apps with similar names from unrelated developers, so check the publisher before installing anything.

Licensing, GAMSTOP and the 2026 rule changes

Every bookmaker on this page trades in Britain under the Gambling Commission. easyBet sits under Triplebet’s account 39504, BetSuna, MogoBet and BetMaze under ProgressPlay’s 39335, and 7Bet under Anakatech’s 48789. BetMaze’s own pages show no account number, only a statement that it is certified by the Commission and a link to the register, which is where we found its ProgressPlay listing. A licence means deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion must be available, and that every site sits within GAMSTOP, the free scheme that blocks all UK-licensed gambling at once.

Two Commission rules from 19 January 2026 shape these offers. Wagering requirements on any bonus are capped at ten times, which is why the 1x wagering on BetSuna, MogoBet and BetMaze free bet winnings sits well inside the limit. Promotions that require customers to mix products, such as betting and slots in a single offer, are banned, so sports welcomes now stand alone from casino deals. Where these brands run casinos alongside their sportsbooks, slot stakes are limited to £5 a spin for adults aged 25 and over and £2 for those aged 18 to 24.

Set a deposit limit before the first bet rather than after a bad week. The National Gambling Helpline is free and open around the clock on 0808 8020 133.

Getting the most from new bookies in the first week

  1. Check eligibility first. A sister-site welcome or a Matchbook account can block the offer before you start.
  2. Pick the payment method for the offer, not for convenience. Avoid Skrill and Neteller at the ProgressPlay-style sites, and Paysafecard at easyBet as well.
  3. Enter the Promo Code where it belongs. 7BETWO goes in with the 7Bet deposit; YES30 goes in at easyBet registration.
  4. Aim the free bet between evens and about 3.0. That band balances a realistic chance of winning against a worthwhile return, and stays clear of every conversion cap.
  5. Verify your identity early. Withdrawal complaints at new bookmakers often trace back to checks requested only when money is due.
  6. Screenshot the terms. If a bonus fails to appear, a dated copy of the offer page settles most disputes quickly.
  7. Leave the withdrawal button alone until wagering is done. At three of the five sites, an early request wipes the bonus.

Where new betting sites head after April 2027

The tax backdrop is shifting under these brands. Remote Gaming Duty, charged on online casino play, rose from 21% to 40% on 1 April 2026, and from 1 April 2027 a new 25% remote rate within General Betting Duty applies to online sports betting, with remote bets on UK horse racing left out of the increase. For newcomers working on thin margins, a higher duty bill leaves less room for generous welcomes, and we would expect sign-up offers to be priced more carefully as that date approaches. The racing exemption may also push some operators to lean harder on racing promotions, where the tax burden stays lighter.

New betting sites: your questions answered

Do any new betting sites offer a no deposit free bet?
None of the five on this page does. Every welcome needs a deposit and a qualifying bet before free bets are paid.

Are there no deposit free spins at these new bookmakers?
Not with the sports welcomes. The sportsbooks pay free bets; any spins offers belong to the brands’ separate casino promotions and also need a deposit.

Which new betting site gives the biggest free bet?
BetSuna, with a £50 free bet for a £10 qualifying bet. It has the highest credit per pound staked of the five.

Do I need a Promo Code for new betting sites free bets?
At 7Bet (7BETWO) and easyBet (YES30), yes. BetSuna, MogoBet and BetMaze apply their sports welcomes without one.

Why is the free bet stake not returned?
Because the bookmaker provides the stake, a winning free bet pays only its profit. A £30 free bet at 2.0 returns £30, not £60.

Can I claim the welcome at both BetSuna and MogoBet?
Probably not. Their terms limit each customer to one sports welcome within the network.

Who runs BetMaze?
The Gambling Commission register lists betmaze.co.uk as a white-label domain of ProgressPlay Limited, account 39335, the same licence holder as BetSuna and MogoBet.

Are new bookies safe to use?
All five operate under Gambling Commission licences and sit within GAMSTOP. Newer brands have thinner track records, so read player feedback and verify your account early.

How quickly do new betting sites pay out?
7Bet usually processes withdrawals the same business day after verification. BetSuna and MogoBet process within one business day, then take one to seven business days by method, with a 1% fee capped at £3.

Does the 10x wagering cap apply to sports free bets?
The Commission’s cap covers wagering requirements on bonuses generally. The 1x wagering on free bet winnings at BetSuna, MogoBet and BetMaze sits comfortably within it.
