First look New
Yes or no? A first look at easyBet, the easyGroup betting site built around Predictions

This easyBet review starts with a question the site itself asks on every screen: yes or no? easyBet is the easyGroup-branded betting site run by Triplebet Limited, the company behind the Matchbook exchange, and new customers who sign up with the Promo Code YES30 and bet £20 on a Predictions market get £30 in free bets once that bet settles. It suits curious punters who fancy a different way of betting, and racing fans who prefer an exchange to a bookmaker.
easyBet arrived in early October 2024, carrying the orange livery of Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou’s easyGroup. When we checked on 3 November 2026, the front page had moved away from conventional odds altogether. Behind the Predictions screen sits a peer-to-peer exchange where customers set prices for each other, plus a sportsbook layer with Bet Builder and accumulators. The YES30 offer is tied to the newest part: a £20 bet on a Predictions market returns £30 in free bets once it settles, win or lose.

What is a Predictions market on easyBet?
This is the question most newcomers will ask, and easyBet’s own app listing answers it. A Predictions market is a question with two answers, Yes or No, on a real-world outcome: a sports result, an election, a current-affairs story. Instead of fractional or decimal odds, each market shows a percentage, which is the crowd’s view of how likely the outcome is. Other users set that price, because easyBet runs on Matchbook’s exchange technology rather than a bookmaker’s trading desk.
A high percentage means the crowd thinks the outcome is likely, so the return is small. A low percentage means a bigger payout if you are right. You can back the favoured answer, take the other side for a larger potential return, or propose your own price and wait for another customer to match it. Markets can also be traded in play, so a position can be changed as an event unfolds.
To turn a percentage into a familiar price, divide 100 by it. A Yes priced at 25% is the same as decimal odds of 4.0, so £10 returns £40 if it lands. At 50% the price is evens; at 80% it is 1.25, which is exactly where the welcome offer draws its line.
| Percentage shown | Decimal odds | Fractional | £10 stake returns |
|---|---|---|---|
| 80% | 1.25 | 1/4 | £12.50 |
| 50% | 2.00 | 1/1 (evens) | £20 |
| 40% | 2.50 | 6/4 | £25 |
| 25% | 4.00 | 3/1 | £40 |
Is easyBet’s £30 Predictions offer good value?
On paper, yes. You stake £20 of your own money and receive £30 in free bets, a 150% top-up, provided you meet the rules.
The key one is the price cap. The qualifying bet must be at a maximum of 80%, which in decimal terms means 1.25 or longer. A heavy favourite priced at 90% would not count. At exactly 80%, a winning £20 bet returns £25; at 50%, it returns £40. Either way the £30 lands once the bet has fully settled, win or lose.
Free bet maths is where expectations need resetting. Because the stake is not returned, a £30 free bet at evens (50%) pays £30 profit, not £60. At 25%, the same free bet would pay £90 profit if the outcome came in, with a much smaller chance of it doing so. Realistically, £30 in free bets is worth less than £30 in cash, but the qualifying bet itself carries no hidden wagering.
A worked example. You deposit £20 by debit card and back Yes at 50% on a Premier League result. It loses: you are £20 down, but £30 in free bets arrives within 24 hours. You place that £30 at 40% (2.50) and it wins, paying £45 profit, as the stake is not returned. Net result across both bets: £25 up. Had the first bet won at 50%, you would have collected £40 from the £20 stake and still received the £30 in free bets.
How to claim:
- Register at easybet.net or in the easyBet app and enter the Promo Code YES30.
- Deposit at least £20, using any method other than Skrill, Neteller or Paysafecard for that first deposit.
- Place your first bet, £20, on a Predictions market priced at 80% or lower.
- Wait for the market to settle fully.
- Look for £30 in free bets within 24 hours.
One restriction is easy to miss: easyBet’s app listing states that existing Matchbook customers cannot open an easyBet account, as the two share a platform.
Is easyBet legit and safe to bet with?
Yes, on the evidence of the Gambling Commission’s public register. The licence holder, Triplebet Limited, holds account 39504, and every licence on it showed as active when we looked in November 2026. easybet.net appears on that account as a White Label domain, and “easybet” is listed as an active trading name next to “matchbook”. The register records no regulatory actions against the business. Its history is not spotless, though: in February 2020 the Commission suspended parts of Triplebet’s licence, then trading as Matchbook, following a licence review. All five of its licences are active today.
In practice, a UK licence means your money is handled under Commission rules, the site must offer deposit limits and self-exclusion, and disputes can be escalated. It does not mean easyBet suits every punter, which is a separate question covered below.
Which markets can you bet on at easyBet?
There are three layers, and they suit different players.
Predictions sit front and centre: Yes or No questions spanning sport, politics and current affairs, priced as percentages and traded between customers.
The exchange is the Matchbook engine underneath. You can back a selection to win or lay it to lose, setting your own odds if you prefer to wait for a match. easyGroup’s launch statement pitched this peer-to-peer model as a route to fairer odds than a traditional bookmaker.
The sportsbook features come through in the app listings, which name football, horse racing and greyhounds as the core sports, with Bet Builder, accumulators, cash out and in-play betting. MMA has its own exchange section too.
Racing, in-play and cash out on the exchange
Horse racing is easyBet’s strongest suit. Its earlier welcome page listed UK and Irish, South African and US tracks, and the Android listing promises live video of races from those regions, so a punter can watch and trade the same race from one screen.
Exchange racing works differently from a bookmaker’s. There is no Best Odds Guaranteed safety net in the usual sense: the price you are matched at is the price you get. Instead, the exchange lets you shop for your own price, ask for a bigger one and wait, or lay a horse you think will lose. In play, prices move second by second, which is where cash out earns its place, letting you lock in a profit or cut a loss before the result is in.
Our advice for a first week: use the Predictions screen for the welcome bet, but spend time on the racing exchange before staking real money there. Laying a horse means you are acting as the bookmaker, and your liability can be several times your stake. Laying a 5.0 shot for £10, for example, risks £40 if it wins.
How do deposits and withdrawals work at easyBet?
This is the thinnest part of easyBet’s public information. Its banking and help pages load inside the web app, so withdrawal times, minimums and the full list of payment methods are shown to logged-in customers rather than on an open page. What the offer terms do confirm is that Skrill, Neteller and Paysafecard first deposits are excluded from the welcome deal, so a card or another listed method is the safe route for deposit number one. easyBet also runs an account verification process, set out in its FAQ section, which is worth completing before your first withdrawal.
| Payment point | What applies |
|---|---|
| First deposit for YES30 | £20 minimum, not by Skrill, Neteller or Paysafecard |
| Method limits and times | Shown in the logged-in cashier |
| Verification | Set out in easyBet’s account verification FAQ; complete it before withdrawing |
Is there an easyBet app?
There are two, both listed under Triplebet Limited as provider. In the UK App Store, easyBet – Predictions Betting holds 5.0 from just 2 ratings, while the older easyBet – Betting Exchange app sits at 2.9 from 10 ratings and describes itself as the UK and Ireland’s newest sports betting app. On Google Play, easyBet – Betting Exchange scores 4.5 from 34 reviews, with more than 10,000 downloads. The website also works as a mobile web app, so you can bet from a phone browser without installing anything.

Do easyBet customers rate it?
There is no Trustpilot page for easybet.net. Profiles named Easybet on Trustpilot belong to unrelated sites, including a South African operator, so their scores do not apply here. The app stores give the only public feedback, and the samples are small: a handful of iPhone ratings for each app and a few dozen on Android, where the 4.5 average is the most encouraging figure available. Treat all of it as an early signal rather than a verdict.
Where can you get help from easyBet?
easyBet keeps its contact and complaints pages inside the web app, and no email address, phone number or chat hours appear on the public site. Expect to use the help options once logged in. The operator is Triplebet Limited, licensed by the UK Gambling Commission under account number 39504, and the app listings name Triplebet Limited as provider.
Who easyBet is best for
- Newcomers curious about prediction markets: the percentage prices read like a probability, and YES30 pays £30 in free bets to try them.
- Racing fans who like exchanges: UK, Irish, US and South African racing with live video promised on Android.
- Punters who hunt for price: an exchange lets you ask for bigger odds than a bookmaker would offer and wait to be matched.
- In-play traders: markets can be traded as events unfold, with cash out listed among the features.
Not ideal if…
- you already hold a Matchbook account, as easyBet’s app listing rules you out;
- you want published payout times and a phone line before you deposit;
- you are new to laying and unsure about liability.
easyBet against other new betting sites
| Betting site | Welcome offer | Qualifying stake | Free bets | Promo Code | Licence holder |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| easyBet | Bet £20, get £30 | £20 on Predictions, max 80% | £30 | YES30 | Triplebet Limited (39504) |
| 7Bet | Bet £10, get £30 | £10 at 2.00+ | 3 x £10 Bonus Bets | 7BETWO | Anakatech Interactive Limited (48789) |
| BetSuna | Bet £10, get £50 | £10 | £50 free bet, min odds 1.5 | – | ProgressPlay Limited (39335) |
| MogoBet | Bet £10, get £30 | £10 | £30 free bet, min odds 1.5 | – | ProgressPlay Limited (39335) |
easyBet asks for the largest qualifying stake of the four and limits it to one market type. In return the bet can be on almost anything, and the price cap at 80% is looser than 7Bet’s evens requirement. BetSuna’s £50 for £10 is bigger on the headline, though its free bet winnings carry 1x wagering and a £200 cap. None of the others offers an exchange.
Keeping control of your easyBet account
easyBet’s pages link to GamCare, GamStop and the Gambling Commission register, and carry the Be Gamble Aware and 18+ messages. As a UK-licensed operator it must offer deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion. Exchange and Predictions betting can move quickly in play, so set a deposit limit before the first bet. The National Gambling Helpline is free on 0808 8020 133, around the clock. 18+ | GambleAware.org
easyBet: the first-look call
What works
– Predictions markets are a genuinely different way in, and the percentage prices are easy to read.
– The YES30 offer turns £20 into £30 in free bets with no wagering on the qualifying bet.
– Matchbook’s exchange gives sharper pricing and racing coverage across four regions.
– A long-standing Gambling Commission licence holder, with easyBet listed by name on the register.
What needs work
– Banking and contact details sit behind the login rather than on public pages.
– No Trustpilot profile and only small app-store samples, so player feedback is thin.
– Laying on the exchange carries liability that newcomers may not expect.
easyBet suits a curious bettor who wants to try Yes or No markets with a brand name behind them, and racing fans who prefer an exchange to a bookmaker. Know the 80% cap before you place the qualifying bet.
