New Horse Racing Betting Sites UK 2026: What Five Fresh Bookmakers Offer Racing Fans

New horse racing betting sites UK guide header with a racing field rounding the final bend beside a phone showing a racecard

New horse racing betting sites UK punters come across rarely lead with racing. Their banners talk about football, Bet Builders and accumulators, and the details racing fans care about most, such as Best Odds Guaranteed, each-way place terms and live pictures, are often missing from the public pages altogether. So we went to the source. For each of the five new bookmakers we have reviewed, we read the operator’s own racing, promotions and terms pages, re-checked the welcome offers on 3 November 2026, and recorded only what they state.

The results are uneven. Two of the five, easyBet and 7Bet, publish meaningful racing features, including live streaming. BetSuna names a long list of big races and promises ante-post prices. MogoBet and BetMaze show a horse racing tab and very little behind it. Not one of the five publishes Best Odds Guaranteed terms, each-way place terms or an extra places offer on the pages we could read.

That does not make them poor places to bet on racing, but it does mean you should know what you are signing up for. Below, we rank the five on racing, set out exactly what each one shows, match each bookmaker to the kind of racing punter it suits, and explain the racing terms every new customer needs before placing an each-way bet: BOG, place terms, extra places and Rule 4. How we score bookmakers is set out on how we review.

New Racing Bookmakers Reviewed for Punters

1. easyBet: £30 in Free Bets When You Bet £20 (Promo Code YES30)

Racing sits closer to the heart of easyBet than of any other new racing bookmaker here. Its welcome pages promise all major tracks in the UK and Ireland, South Africa and the USA, live streaming on every track, in-play betting and racing multiples. Prices come from customers rather than a trading desk, because easyBet runs on the Matchbook exchange, so you can back a horse or lay it. Note that the YES30 welcome bet itself must go on a Predictions market, not a race.

2. 7Bet Sports: 3 x £10 Bonus Bets for a £10 Bet (Promo Code 7BETWO)

7Bet runs a dedicated Racing Hub with form guides, expert picks, a race predictor, and live streaming with in-play markets, though it adds that available features vary by racecourse. Daily cards cover flat and jumps racing at UK and international tracks. Racers should know that its Acca Boost excludes horse racing, and that the main welcome needs the Promo Code 7BETWO and a £10 qualifying bet at evens or bigger.

3. BetSuna Sports: a £50 Free Bet for a £10 Qualifying Bet

BetSuna calls itself a UK horse racing betting hub for ante-post odds, covering any race on the British calendar plus major US and international fixtures. Its betting page names the Classics, the Cheltenham Gold Cup, the Grand National, the King George VI Chase, the Kentucky Derby and the Melbourne Cup. Its £50 free bet, unlocked by a £10 qualifying bet, needs odds of 1.5 or longer, which suits a mid-priced runner.

4. MogoBet Sports: a £30 Free Bet for a £10 Qualifying Bet

MogoBet lists horse racing in its sports menu, but its racing page returned an error instead of markets when we checked, and none of its 19 sports promotions is aimed at the turf. The £30 free bet for a £10 stake can still be used on a race at 1.5 or longer. Racing fans will find more substance at the bookmakers ranked above it.

Racing quick facts: ProgressPlay Limited, Gambling Commission account 39335 · racing tab, markets did not load when we checked · streaming not stated · BOG not published · Trustpilot 1.5 from 51 reviews

5. BetMaze Sports: a £10 Free Bet to Match a £10 Bet

BetMaze includes horse racing among its six main sports, yet its public pages show no meetings, racing promotions or racing terms. Its only sport-specific promotion on record was a football cashback deal. The £10 free bet, unlocked by a £10 qualifying bet, is modest.

Which new racing bookmaker suits which punter

Racing punters want different things, and the five line up very differently once you look past the welcome offers.

  • Best for watching the races you bet on: easyBet. It is the only one of the five that promises live streaming on every track it covers, across the UK and Ireland, South Africa and the USA.
  • Best for traders and layers: easyBet again. On the exchange you can lay a horse to lose or wait for your own price, which no fixed-odds bookmaker here allows.
  • Best for form study: 7Bet. Its Racing Hub carries form guides, expert picks and a race predictor alongside streaming and in-play markets.
  • Best for ante-post punters on the big festivals: BetSuna. It names the Classics, the Gold Cup, the Grand National and the King George among its races, and its £50 free bet is the largest here.
  • Best for a mid-priced free bet on a single race: BetSuna or MogoBet. One free bet at 1.5 or longer, used on a 3/1 to 6/1 runner, makes the most of the £200 conversion cap.

Not ideal if…

  • You rely on Best Odds Guaranteed. None of the five publishes BOG terms, so a drifting price will not be topped up.
  • You bet each-way on big-field handicaps. No extra places offers are advertised, and only BetSuna mentions each-way betting at all, in general terms.
  • You want a racing-only welcome. Only 7Bet runs one, with the Promo Code WFB10; the rest are general sports offers.

What each bookmaker’s own pages say about racing

We searched each brand’s official site for six racing features. “Not stated” means we found nothing on the public pages, not that the feature definitely does not exist inside a logged-in account.

A few details deserve expanding. easyBet’s welcome page carries the heading “Better Odds Guaranteed”, which is not the same thing as Best Odds Guaranteed. It is a claim that peer-to-peer prices beat a traditional bookmaker’s, because customers set the odds, and it comes with no price-matching guarantee. The same page says low commission lets players keep more of their winnings, but we found no commission rate published.

7Bet’s racing landing page advertises its own offer, separate from 7BETWO: deposit £10 with the Promo Code WFB10, place a £10 bet and receive a £10 free bet valid on racing and other sports. Its terms set minimum odds of 1/1, maximum winnings of £100, a five-day expiry, no cash out, and exclude bets struck at starting price. Each welcome is tied to its own Promo Code, so decide which one you want before the first deposit. 7Bet’s blog explains Best Odds Guaranteed as something many bookmakers provide but does not say that 7Bet offers it.

BetSuna’s betting page defines an each-way bet in general terms but gives no place fractions or number of places. Its sports promotions page lists cashback and Bet Builder deals for other sports and casino-led offers, with nothing for racing.

BOG at new bookmakers: how Best Odds Guaranteed works

Best Odds Guaranteed, usually shortened to BOG, is a promise about price. If you take a fixed price on a horse and its starting price (SP) turns out bigger, the bookmaker settles a winning bet at the SP instead.

A worked example: you back a horse at 5/1 in the morning with £10 to win. The market drifts and it goes off at 7/1. Without BOG, a win pays £50 profit. With BOG, it pays £70. If the horse shortens to 4/1, you still get your 5/1. The concession can only help the punter.

Conditions vary between bookmakers. Typical terms set which races qualify, often UK and Irish meetings only, the time from which it applies, a cap on the extra amount paid, and exclusions for certain big meetings. Because none of our five new racing bookmakers publishes BOG terms on its public pages, assume your bets settle at the price taken unless a promotion inside your account says otherwise.

Each-way bets and the standard place terms

An each-way bet is two equal bets in one: a win bet and a place bet. A £5 each-way stake costs £10. If the horse wins, both halves pay; if it only places, the win half loses and the place half pays at a fraction of the odds.

The Tattersalls rules, which British bookmakers follow unless they display different terms, set these defaults:

Runners Non-handicap Handicap
2 to 4 Win only Win only
5 to 7 1/4 odds, places 1-2 1/4 odds, places 1-2
8 to 11 1/5 odds, places 1-2-3 1/5 odds, places 1-2-3
12 to 15 1/5 odds, places 1-2-3 1/4 odds, places 1-2-3
16 to 21 1/5 odds, places 1-2-3 1/5 odds, places 1-2-3-4
22 or more 1/5 odds, places 1-2-3 1/4 odds, places 1-2-3-4

The rules also allow a bookmaker to offer 1/5 odds on two places in a three- or four-runner non-handicap, if it shows that clearly.

Here is how the sums run. Take £5 each-way at 8/1 in a ten-runner non-handicap, paying 1/5 odds on three places.

  • The horse wins: the win half returns £45 (£40 profit plus the £5 stake). The place half is settled at 8/5, a fifth of 8/1, returning £13. Total return £58 from a £10 outlay.
  • The horse finishes third: the win half loses, the place half returns £13. You end £3 up.
  • The horse finishes fourth: both halves lose, and the £10 is gone.

Each-way betting suits mid-priced runners in bigger fields. On a short-priced favourite, the place part often returns less than the stake it costs.

Extra places: when the bookie pays further down the field

An extra places promotion pays the place part of an each-way bet on one or more positions beyond the standard terms. In a 16-runner handicap that would normally pay four places, a bookmaker offering five pays out on the horse that finishes fifth as well.

The appeal is obvious in big-field handicaps, where finishing positions are spread across a wide set of runners. The cost is less obvious: some bookmakers trim the place fraction, or price the race slightly shorter, to fund the extra place. Compare the full terms, not just the number of places. None of the five new bookies on this page advertises extra places on its public pages, so anyone who bets each-way on big Saturday handicaps should check the promotions tab once registered.

Rule 4 deductions and non-runners

When a horse is withdrawn after you have taken a fixed price, the field is weaker and your horse’s chance is better. Rule 4 rebalances the bet by deducting a set amount from your winnings, based on the withdrawn horse’s price at the time. The stake is never touched.

A selection from the deduction scale published by British racecourses:

Price of withdrawn horse Deduction per £1 of winnings
1/9 or shorter 90p
Evens to 6/5 45p
9/5 to 9/4 30p
12/5 to 3/1 25p
9/2 to 11/2 15p
6/1 to 9/1 10p
10/1 to 14/1 5p
Over 14/1 None

An example: you back a horse at 4/1 with £10. The 2/1 favourite is withdrawn, a 30p deduction. Your £40 of winnings becomes £28, so a winning bet returns £38 instead of £50. If several horses come out, the deductions combine up to a ceiling of 90p in the pound.

Bets at starting price are usually unaffected, because the SP forms after the withdrawal. Bets on a non-runner itself are void and the stake comes back.

Horse racing free bets: using a welcome offer on the track

Sign-up offers behave differently on racing than on football, mainly because racing prices tend to be bigger.

At BetSuna, MogoBet and BetMaze, the free bet must be staked in one go at 1.5 or longer, with winnings wagered once and converted up to £200. That cap matters more on racing than on most sports. BetSuna’s £50 free bet on a 4/1 winner pays exactly £200, the ceiling; on a 6/1 winner it would pay £300 before the cap cuts it back to £200. On these terms, the price that makes full use of the £50 is around 3/1 to 4/1. MogoBet’s £30 free bet reaches the cap at a little under 7/1, and BetMaze’s £10 only at 20/1 or bigger.

7Bet’s three £10 Bonus Bets give a racing fan three separate selections, and the published welcome terms do not tie them to one sport, though restrictions apply. A £10 Bonus Bet on a 5/1 winner pays £50 profit. Under the separate WFB10 racing offer, starting-price bets are excluded, so take a fixed price.

easyBet’s welcome does not qualify on racing at all: the £20 first bet must be on a Predictions market. Once the free bets arrive, read their terms on racing markets before using them.

None of the five welcome terms we read says whether a free bet can be placed each-way. Ask support before trying, because a split stake may not be accepted.

Backing and laying: racing on easyBet’s exchange

easyBet’s racing works differently from a bookmaker’s. On an exchange, one customer backs a horse to win and another lays it to lose, and easyBet takes commission on winnings rather than building a margin into the price. That is the basis of its “Better Odds Guaranteed” claim.

Laying needs care. If you lay a horse at 6.0 for a £10 stake, you are offering someone else odds of 5/1, so your liability is £50 if it wins. Exchanges deal with non-runners under their own rules, so read easyBet’s before trading in play. For a first week, backing at your own price and letting the market match it is the gentler way in.

Safer racing betting: licences, limits and GAMSTOP

Racing runs from morning to evening, every day of the year, which makes limits more useful than on sports with weekly fixtures. All five bookmakers here trade under the Gambling Commission. When we checked the public register in November 2026, easybet.net appeared as a white label of Triplebet Limited (account 39504), 7bet.co.uk under Anakatech Interactive Limited (48789), and betsuna.com, mogobet.com and betmaze.co.uk all under ProgressPlay Limited (39335). ProgressPlay was fined £1 million by the Commission in August 2025 for anti-money laundering and social responsibility failings, which is worth knowing before you hand three of these brands your documents. Each licensee must offer deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion, and GAMSTOP blocks every UK-licensed site in one step.

Since 19 January 2026, the Commission has capped wagering requirements on promotions at ten times and banned offers that make customers combine products, such as a racing bet and slot play, to qualify. The 1x wagering on free bet winnings at BetSuna, MogoBet and BetMaze is within that cap. The casinos attached to these sportsbooks carry the online slot stake limits of £5 a spin, or £2 for players aged 18 to 24.

Racing betting sites after April 2027

Horse racing gets distinct treatment in the coming tax changes. Remote Gaming Duty on online casino play went from 21% to 40% on 1 April 2026, and a 25% remote betting rate within General Betting Duty takes effect on 1 April 2027. The government has excluded remote bets on UK horse racing from that rate, so they stay on their existing duty. For racing fans, that is a reason to expect racing promotions to hold up better than football ones at new bookmakers, since a bet on a UK race will cost operators less in duty than a bet on the Premier League. Whether the five brands here use that headroom for BOG, extra places or racing free bets is something we will watch closely.

New horse racing betting sites UK: common questions

Do any of these new bookies offer Best Odds Guaranteed?
None publishes BOG terms on its public pages. Assume bets settle at the price taken unless your account’s promotions tab says otherwise.

Which new racing bookmakers stream races?
easyBet promises live streaming on all its tracks. 7Bet’s Racing Hub lists live streaming and in-play markets, with features varying by racecourse.

Can I get a no deposit free bet for horse racing?
Not at these five. Every welcome needs a deposit and a qualifying bet before any free bet is paid.

Are there no deposit free spins at new racing betting sites?
No. The sports welcomes pay free bets, and casino spins offers at these brands require a deposit.

How many places does an each-way bet pay?
Under standard Tattersalls terms, two places in five to seven runners, three in eight or more, and four in handicaps of 16 or more. Bookmakers can vary this if they display their terms.

What is a Rule 4 deduction?
A cut from your winnings, not your stake, when a horse is withdrawn after you took a fixed price. It ranges from 5p to 90p per £1 depending on the withdrawn horse’s odds.

Can I use a sign-up free bet on horse racing?
At BetSuna, MogoBet and BetMaze, yes, at odds of 1.5 or longer. 7Bet’s racing landing offer is valid on racing but excludes starting-price bets. easyBet’s qualifying bet must be on a Predictions market.

Does the 25% remote betting duty from April 2027 apply to horse racing?
No. Remote bets on UK horse racing are excluded from the new rate.

Which new bookmaker is best for horse racing?
On published features, easyBet, for live streaming on every track and the option to back or lay. 7Bet is the pick for form tools and a racing-specific welcome; BetSuna for the biggest free bet to use on a race.

Does BetSuna cover the Cheltenham Festival and Grand National?
Its betting page names the Cheltenham Gold Cup, Stayers’ Hurdle and Grand National among the races it covers.
